Imagine a far off planet where the food Web isn't built around energy harvested from the sun, but bio electrical energy generated via wind power.
High up where the air currents are constant and steady you might find bio-turbines supplying the biosphere below steady bursts of energy through expansive root systems that snake down the mountain side.
Would predation evolve? Or perhaps a symbiotic Web of lifeforms would emerge.
